- Increasing shaft diameter to 1 ¼” (32mm), extended bushing length to 3 ½” (89mm), the Bowie 300 ED Series has an increased pump life.

- Pump housing and end plates are constructed from ductile iron castings, providing higher tensile strength and better wearability than cast iron.

- A ductile iron heavy duty wear plate is added to the Bowie 300 ED Series to increase pump life.

- For ease of maintenance, gears and bushings can be replaced without disconnecting pump from piping.

- Pump can be rotated bi-directionally, allowing for flow to be reversed without changing pump configuration.

- Buna-N rubber, helical steel, and helical Delrin gears are interchangeable and available to suit any application.

- Optional stainless steel shafts available for use in chemical service.

- Optional bi-directional bypass plate protects downstream piping and hoses from excessive pressure.

- With the addition of the bi-directional bypass plate, upstream and downstream relief pressures are adjustable and can be set independently from one another.

- Addition of a Bowie Flange Adapter allows for direct connection of the pump to an electric or hydraulic drive unit.
