Bi-directional pressure relief plate

Bowie Pumps of Canada Ltd. was the first company to introduce a bi-directional pressure relief plate for added protection of both equipment and personnel to safeguard against high pressure fluid flow. This patent pending design offers maximum protection regardless of the pumping flow direction.

The sophisticated yet simple design improves functionality by offering:

• Compact size that adds only 2” to the overall length of the pump housing, allowing for easy installation and compatibility with an existing pump position.

• Maximum pressure settings that can be independently configured for both the intake and discharge of the pumped product.

• Full compatibility with all series of 2″ and 3″ Bowie pumps (except the XP outboard bearing series of pumps and the Signature Series Model 9100).
